Border on the Beginning of the Stairs
We repaired a damaged parquet board at the transition to the stairs by custom-cutting a precisely shaped replacement piece and reinforcing it with a metal corner for added strength and stability.
Project Description:
A really hard project. It took painstaking work to replace the layered upper parquet board at the border with the beginning of the stairs. It was impossible to simply lay a new piece of parquet, I had to cut out a suitable corner from the board and strengthen it with a metal corner. To clearly take place, on all sides, the new board was irregular in shape. The work of fitting a piece of wood is an art when you cut off everything superfluous to create a masterpiece.
